End of the United States in 2010?

There was an interesting article published in The Wall Street Journal on December 29.

Here is a snippet:

As if Things Weren't Bad Enough, Russian Professor Predicts End of U.S.

MOSCOW -- For a decade, Russian academic Igor Panarin has been predicting the U.S. will fall apart in 2010. For most of that time, he admits, few took his argument -- that an economic and moral collapse will trigger a civil war and the eventual breakup of the U.S. -- very seriously. Now he's found an eager audience: Russian state media.

You can read the rest of the short article here. Definitely food for conspiracy theorists' thoughts.

Yeah, I read that article too.

Btw, did you know that America didn't really land on the moon? Apparently we simply landed in New Mexico. Who knew?

Depending on the theory you like to choose... the US either did not land on the moon, or we went several more times to retrieve an alien spaceship that had crashed there long ago.

Oooooh, the second one is kind of fun!
