I read this question on another blog, so I have no idea if Jim Henderson is a heretic or whatever, but I thought the question was worth sharing. Has the church moved so far from Christ's ideal that He would not recognize it now? Or would He ask why we do some of the things we do? Maybe He already is. . .

Doable Evangelism was Jim's idea - you can check out that site to get more idea of whether he's a heretic.

I was kidding, of course, when I mentioned the bit about Jim being a heretic. I had had a conversation earlier in the week about a well-known emergent author who someone claimed was a heretic. I am beginning to wonder what that makes me.
If we have to "take" Jesus there... it isn't church. (not Jesus' anyway)
